In September of 2008 I accompanied the WREAF (Wilderness River Expedition Artists Foundation) expedition to northern Labrador, Newfoundland, Canada to study the George River caribou herd and the northern boreal forest of that region. The following field sketches are from that trip to Lake Kamestastin where we were base camped.
